Day 1 Amboseli

We will collect you from your hotel or the International airport and transfer you to the domestic , Wilson airport for your 07.30am flight [ subject to schedule changes]. You will be brought to the airport at least 45 mins prior to the flight. Board your flight to Amboseli. Flying time approx 35 mins: Upon arrival you will be received and transferred from the airstrip to your Tented Camp by the camp’s Driver guide in a 4x4 safari vehicle. The camp you are staying at an exclusive luxury property which offers beautiful views of the surrounding Amboseli park. You will likely also be able to see Africa’s highest mountain – Kilimanjaro, from the lodge, during a clear day. Kilimanjaro , for all its beauty, has a ‘shy’ peak, often remaining shrouded in cloud cover – Dawn and Dust are often great times to see the peak. Enjoy the rest of the morning at leisure before proceed for the delicious buffet lunch. After a short time for some ‘siesta’, get ready for your first African Safari game drive, at approx 3.30pm during which you explore the surrounding parts of the park and see its amazing wildlife. (The safari vehicle may carry other guests from the lodge). Return to the camp by evening [ typically 6 to 6.30pm], in time for dinner. Overnight stay at Tortillis Camp:

Day 2 Amboseli

Today you have an early rise for your estimated 6.15am Safari game drive during which you will see more of the Amboseli’s great wildlife. Early morning, and late afternoon are considered the best times to spot animals at their most active. Amboseli is especially known for its prolific Elephant population. In fact the park is a research base for an Elephant project [ not open to visitors] and helps us understand these highly perceptive and what we’d call ‘’sixth sense intelligent’’ animals. Return to the camp for a relaxed breakfast – rest of the morning at leisure. The camp has a swimming pool but also offers a variety of add-on activities, such as nature walks . After the sumptuous lunch, enjoy another mid afternoon safari game drive to further explore the park and its eco system. Return to the Lodge by evening [ typically 6 to 6.30pm] in time for a relaxed evening which may be enlivened by entertainment provided by the lodge, followed by dinner. Upon request you may also organize a pre dinner, dusk sundowner – cocktails and drinks served at a scenic spot near the camp while enjoying the setting sun. Overnight stay at Tortillis Camp:

Day 3 Samburu

Today you have an early breakfast and check out from the lodge by 7.15am for a short transfer to the nearby airstrip. Board your 08.10am flight back to Nairobi [ 45 mins flying time]. Upon arrival at Wilson, you board your onward flight to Samburu Reserve, arriving here by 10.30am. You will be received and transferred from the airstrip to your overnight camp by the camp’s Driver guide in a 4x4 safari vehicle. This camp is a renowned, small luxury property located by the banks of the Ewaso Nyiro River, inside the main Samburu Reserve, offering beautiful views of the surrounding wilderness. Samburu, semi-arid yet very beautiful, almost Classic Africa in a sense, is famous for some species found only in this area – such as the Grevy’s Zebra, which differs in physical features from its cousin the Grants Zebra. Late afternoon, typically at 3.30pm, you embark on a two to three hour Safari Game drive during which you explore the surrounding parts of this picturesque reserve. Though set in the semi-arid part of Kenya, the reserve is still colorful with patches of bright ever-green shrubs, trees and often bright blue skies. Return to the camp by evening [ typically 6.30 pm] in time for dinner. Overnight Samburu Intrepids Camp:

Day 4 Samburu

Today you have an early rise for your estimated 6.15am Safari game drive during which you will see more of the Samburu’s vast wilderness. Early morning, and late afternoon are considered the best times to spot animals at their most active. Return to the camp for a relaxed breakfast – rest of the morning at leisure. The lodge has a swimming pool and also offers a variety of add-on activities, such as nature walks { some optional activities are a extra cost}. After the sumptuous lunch, take a late afternoon safari game drive before returning to the camp by evening [ typically 6 to 6.30pm] in time for a relaxed evening which may be enlivened by entertainment provided by the lodge, followed by dinner. Overnight Samburu Intrepids Camp.

Day 5 Masai Mara Safari

Today you have an early breakfast and check out from the lodge by 7.30am for a short transfer to the nearby airstrip. Board your 08.30am flight onwards to Masai Mara, arriving there approx 10.30am: You are now in Masai Mara – one of the premier wildlife conservation areas on the planet. Upon arrival you will be received and transferred from the airstrip to your overnight Tented Camp by the camp’s Driver-guide in a 4x4 safari vehicle. Your overnight camp is a highly rated, small, boutique-sized luxury property which offers beautiful views of the Mara and is located in the heart of the Reserve. Enjoy some time at leisure as you take in the surreal surroundings. Thereafter proceed for lunch. Embark on your first Masai Mara Safari game drive, late afternoon [typically 3.30pm] during which you explore the surrounding parts of the Mara and see its amazing wildlife. Return to the camp by evening [ typically 6 to 6.30 pm] in time for dinner. Overnight stay at Mara Explorer Camp – Masai Mara:

Day 6 Masai Mara Balloon Safari

Begin your morning with a spectacular Hot Air Balloon flight at the break of dawn – ‘float’ gracefully over the scenic African savannah teeming with wildlife. The balloon takes off approx 6 to 6.15am, which means you will be collected from your camp by around 5.30am – yes, an early start but so worth it ! The one hour flight concludes with a ‘Champagne Breakfast in the Bush’’, at your landing site. Return to the Camp for the rest of the morning at leisure , or you could choose to visit a nearby Maasai village – this, typically one hour visit provides a fascinating insight into the day to day life of the famous Kenyan tribe, the nomadic Maasai. You also get to see their unique mud dwellings – the Manyatta huts. For those who want to laze off the day, there is a swimming pool at this camp’s sister property nearby and they will take you there upon request. After the sumptuous lunch, take a mid afternoon safari game drive to further explore the reserve. Return to the camp by evening [ typically 6pm] in time for a relaxed evening which may be enlivened by entertainment provided by the lodge, followed by dinner. Overnight stay at Mara Explorer Camp – Masai Mara:
