Nairobi Amboseli

Pick up from Your hotel in Nairobi or place of residence and drive to Amboseli National Park.

First Game Drive

As we arrive at Amboseli National Park we head off to Ol Tukai lodge and on the way there you will have your first game drive. We arrive at Ol Tukai lodge for breakfast and for an opportunity to freshen up.

Second Game Drive

After breakfast you head off for a mid morning game drive. Its true that Amboseli is flat and its the easiest park to trace animals in Kenya. You head off to the two swamps in Amboseli which also happen to be the best spots to see wildlife. This is your chance to see elephants, giraffes, lions, hippos, water buffaloes, hyenas, wildebeest, waterbucks, Warthogs and baboons. Amboseli is also known for its bird species with more than 420 species having been recorded here. The swamps are great for water-associated birds such as egrets, herons, pelicans and crowned cranes. Amboseli is a bird-watcher’s paradise throughout the year. Residents include unusual species that are spotted at any time. The migratory bird population fills the park from November to April. The months when rainfall is most likely to disrupt your bird-watching plans are November and April.

Observation Hill

You can choose to add a visit to a Maasai village as they are an indigenous people who live within the park’s borders. If you’d like you can take an optional visit with the Maasai to meet them and learn about their culture and lifestyle.

Lunch At Amboseli Serena Lodge

You head to Amboseli Serena Lodge for lunch there after you set off for the third and final game drive and this is also on your way out of the Amboseli National park.
